about me
Beyond the practical side of my work, I have always felt a deep connection to the spiritual and the unseen. The mystical, the darkness, the magic, and the dance between polarities continue to inspire me. I am drawn to the raw beauty of spaces and the possibility of transforming them into something that holds exactly what is needed in a given moment. What moves me most is the alchemy that happens when people, places, and ideas meet — the unique energy of a gathering, the freshness of a performance, and the feeling that something unexpected and alive is unfolding.
My work is rooted in collaboration, intuition, and a genuine desire to be of service. I believe in creating spaces where people can meet, create, express themselves, and feel part of something larger than themselves. Through working with artists and collectives,
I learned from one of my greatest teachers that wherever we go, we can build, burn down, and rebuild our temples and stages. We can begin again, shape new worlds, and create places of belonging.
I am Catherina Sophia, Creative Producer, Event Curator, Artist Manager, and a passionate booker with a deep love for music, art, people, and the spaces in between.
At the heart of my work is a love for connecting — people, ideas, artists, and places. I love making people feel seen and heard, listening closely to their needs and visions, and bringing the right pieces together to create something meaningful. With a great love for detail and an intuitive understanding of what a moment calls for, I curate spaces and experiences that invite connection, presence, and transformation.
Booking has always come naturally to me. Communicating, connecting the dots, caring for artists, and holding all the moving pieces together so that a vision can come to life. Having walked my own path as an artist through dance and music, including piano, I know how vulnerable and precious creative ideas can be. This understanding lies at the heart of how I work: with sensitivity, humility, and care. I want artists to feel supported, to have the space they need to flourish, and to shine in their own unique way.
My journey has taken me through classic agency booking, film production, art and music collectives, community spaces, and travels around the world. Berlin, where I lived for ten years, became a home for my passion for art, music, and the people who bring them to life — particularly within the conscious and alternative cultural scenes. Along the way, I have gathered a diverse set of skills across curation, production, organisation, logistics, artist booking and hosting, and communication.
